Arnaud Genis Retires as President, Composites
TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Owens Corning (NYSE: OC) announced today that Marcio Sandri has been
named President, Composites, effective May 25, 2018. Mr. Sandri will
report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mike Thaman.

delivering strong financial and operational results throughout his
17-year career with Owens Corning.”
Arnaud Genis has decided to retire after serving as President,
Composites for the last seven years and having spent more than 30 years
in the composites industry. Mr. Genis has led the transformation of the
Composites business driving record financial performance and a more
favorable margin profile, with a continuous focus on strong product
leadership and low-delivered cost operations.

Mr. Sandri currently serves as Vice President, Global Strategy and
Operations for the company’s Composites business. Prior to this role,
Mr. Sandri was Vice President and Managing Director of Glass
Reinforcements, encompassing core glass fiber production, technical
fabrics and specialty glass within the Composites business. He also had
enterprise-wide responsibility for operations and supply chain activity.
Since joining Owens Corning in 2000, Mr. Sandri had several commercial
roles with responsibility for the United States, Latin America, Canada,
and Asia Pacific. Before Owens Corning, he worked at Dow Chemical in
Latin America and the United States.
Mr. Sandri earned a degree in chemical engineering from the Federal
University of Parana and studied business administration at the
University of São Paulo.
